My friend Gillian has set the challenge of rust over at Mixed Media Monday. Getting something rusty in itself was a problem for me but after much searching.....
I was reading a fairy story for a little girl this week and with the sun shining and the garden so green I thought I would create my own little fairy garden. I've used a lot of elements including stamping and sewing (it was very distracting searching through my fabric stash!). I also love working with fresh flowers. The pictures don't really show it but there are some pretty blue glass beads at the top of the "maypoles".
She now has a little home at the bottom of the garden.

I'm missing words, a wonderful eye-catcher.
Wow, Seona - this is gorgeous! I bet more than paper fairies come to play in that, at the bottom of your garden! Diane
WOW moo I LOVE this, the fresh flowers really make it and it's so gorgeous and summery. I think real fairies would love it, and little girls too. it's really beautiful.
wonderful work!!!
This just stirs the imagination. I love the movie "Fairy Tale" and this reminds me of the houses that they built in the movie. This is truly divine!
I have given your blog an award moo, details on mine xx
This is so sweet. Those flowers are gorgeous and I love the rust. Love how you have the fairy sitting in there. I bet this is so pretty at night with the candles lit.
